From Main Street Sag Harbor:

At the north end of Main Street (at the flagpole looking at Long Wharf/Bay Street Theatre) go right on Bay Street. Continue straight on Bay Street through the blinking light. (Do not turn right and follow Rt. 114 to East Hampton.) Continue past the American Legion/Dockside Restaurant on your right. BYC Clubhouse is on the left, in the rear of the municipal parking lot, just before the Sag Harbor Yacht Yard.

Bridge coming from North Haven Route 114:

Come over the bridge down into the Village of Sag Harbor. Go straight past the flagpole, through the blinking light (don't follow 114 right to East Hampton or turn onto Main Street). Continue past the American Legion/Dockside Restaurant on your right. BYC Clubhouse is on the left, in the rear of the municipal parking lot, just before the Sag Harbor Yacht Yard.

From Southampton and Points West:

County Road 39A to outside Southampton. Go left at the stop light (just before PC Richards on your right) onto Sandy Hollow Road. Continue straight/left at the next light onto North Sea Road. Several miles later go right onto Noyac Road. Continue approx. 8 miles through North Sea/Noyac. Just past the IGA on your left, turn left onto Long Beach Road. At the traffic circle in North Haven go right onto 114. Follow 114 to the Bridge into Sag Harbor.

** You can also take Montauk Highway to Bridgehampton, go north on County Rd. 59 (79?) to Main Street, Sag Harbor. Follow Main Street Directions above.

From East Hampton:

Take 114 Into the Village of Sag Harbor. At the blinking light go right onto Bay Street. Continue down Bay Street past the American Legion/Dockside Restaurant on your right. BYC Clubhouse is on the left, in the rear of the municipal parking lot, just before the Sag Harbor Yacht Yard.

Traveling from New York City to Devon Yacht Club:

Take the Long Island Expressway (Interstate 495) East to exit 70 (Suffolk County 111 Manorville - Eastport) South, continue on Suffolk County 111 South to NY 27 East (Sunrise Highway). Continue on Sunrise Highway East to its end, then make left turn onto Montauk Highway (NY 27A -- CR 85), continue eastbound through Bridgehampton and Easthampton to Amagansett. Just after the firehouse and Railroad station, bear left onto Abraham Landing Road. After passing the railroad tracks, continue straight (not left) for 2 miles and the road will end at Devon YC parking area.

Traveling from New York City to Mattituck Yacht Club:

Take the Long Island Expressway (Interstate 495) East to exit 73 (Suffolk County 58 -- Old Country Road) - Expressway Ends. Stay on Suffolk County 58 East, which becomes NY 25 East after approximately four miles. Remain on NY 25 Eastbound for approximately six miles. After entering the hamlet of Laurel, you will travel under a railroad bridge. Make the next right onto Bray Avenue and take it to the end, turning left onto Peconic Say Boulevard. Follow the Boulevard approximately 1600 feet and turn right immediately after passing a softball field. The clubhouse is located behind the field.

Traveling from New England to Mattituck Yacht Club:

Arrive at the Ferry Terminal in New London, Connecticut and cross the Long Island Sound via transport by the Cross Sound Ferry (reservations should be made in advance by telephoning 860-443-5281). After departing the ferry terminal at Orient Point, make a left onto New York State Route 25. After traveling approximately 10 miles, Route 25 will become New York State Route 48 and turn into a two-lane highway. Remain on Route 48 for approximately thirteen miles. After entering the hamlet of Mattituck, make a left onto Wickham Avenue. Follow Wickham Avenue to the end and make a right onto Route 25. Stay on Route 25 for short of one mile and make a left onto Sigsbee Road at the traffic light. Take Sigsbee to the end and make a right onto Peconic Bay Boulevard. After traveling a few hundred feet, make a left right after a curve in the road and just before the softball field. The clubhouse is located behind the field.

Directions to Old Cove Yacht Club:

Old Cove is located at the end of Old Harbor Road in New Suffolk. From east or west follow the Main Road (Route 25) into the center of Cutchogue. At the traffic lights by North Fork Bank, turn onto New Suffolk Avenue. Pass the Cutchogue Fire Station and proceed past the peach orchards. The first road on the left should be Old Harbor Road. Proceed very slowly to the end of the road. During regattas traffic is directed in an orderly fashion and parking is often at the top of the hill or the halfway point of the road in a large field on the right.

Traveling from New York City to Orient Yacht Club:

Take the Long Island Expressway (Interstate 495) East to exit 73 - the last exit - Suffolk County Route 58. Continue Eastbound passing through 4 or 5 lights until you approach a traffic circle. Go through the traffic circle continuing Eastbound passing through 3 more lights. At the 4th light, a bank should be on your right. Turn left heading North on Northville Turnpike. Take the Northville Turnpike to its end, then turn right, heading East on Route 48 (Sound Avenue). Stay on this road for approximately 24 miles. You will pass through Mattituck, Peconic, Southold, Greenport and East Marion. Go over the causeway into Orient. Shortly on your right is a monument where you turn right onto Village Lane. Take this toward the water, less than a half mile, the road will bend, continue straight onto the pier. Orient Yacht Club is at the end of the pier - a red building.

Traveling from New England to Orient Yacht Club:

Enter the school district with the school on your right and Orient Firehouse on your left. Take the next left at the monument onto Village Lane. Take this toward the water, less than a half mile, the road will bend, continue straight onto the pier. Orient Yacht Club is at the end of the pier - a red building.

Traveling from New York City to Shelter Island Yacht Club:

Take the Long Island Expressway (Interstate 495) East to exit 73 (Suffolk County 58 -- Old Country Road) - Expressway Ends. Stay on Suffolk County 58 East, which becomes NY 25 East after approximately four miles. Remain on NY 25 Eastbound to Greenport and follow the signs to the Shelter Island Ferry. Take the ferry and follow the sign for NY 114 up the hill and go straight, keeping the tennis courts to your right. Follow the water until you come to the yacht club.


Traveling from New York City to Shinnecock Yacht Club:

Take the Long Island Expressway (Interstate 495) East to exit 70 (Suffolk County 111 Manorville - Eastport) South, continue on Suffolk County 111 South to NY 27 East (Sunrise Highway). Continue on Sunrise Highway East to Exit 64S (Suffolk County 104 Southbound -- Quogue-Riverhead Road). Continue on Suffolk County 104 South to its end. Turn Right onto Montauk Highway (NY 27A -- CR 85) and continue until the highway begins to bend sharply to the right, turn immediately left onto Quogue Street. Once on Quogue Street, turn immediately left onto Shinnecock Road. At the second left, turn left onto Niamogue Lane. Clubhouse is at the end.


Traveling from New York City to Southampton Yacht Club:

Take the Long Island Expressway (Interstate 495) East to exit 70 (Suffolk County 111 Manorville - Eastport) South, continue on Suffolk County 111 South to NY 27 East (Sunrise Highway). Continue on Sunrise Highway East to Exit 65S (NY 24 Southbound), continue quarter mile to its end. Make left turn onto Montauk Hwy (NY 27A -- CR 85), continue 5 miles eastbound to Southampton. Across from the College, turn right onto Little Neck Road. Look for the brick pillars on left with Southampton Yacht Club burgee.

Traveling from New York City to Southold Yacht Club:

Take the Long Island Expressway (Interstate 495) East to exit 73 (Suffolk County 58 -- Old Country Road) - Expressway Ends. Stay on Suffolk County 58 East, which becomes NY 25 East after approximately four miles. Follow NY 25 East to the village of Southold, continue past Southold Marine on the right, and continue until you pass a Universalist Church on the right with a Catholic Church on the left, just after the American Legion. Turn right at the next street - Oaklawn Avenue. Stay on Oaklawn Avenue until you reach the second 4- way stop sign, where you will turn left onto Pine Neck Road. Proceed until the third road, North Bayview. Take North Bayview until you cross a short bridge followed immediately by a beach and parking lot on the left. The yacht club is located at the far end of the parking lot at Goose Creek Beach.
